Primary Care Associates of Hagerstown is proud to be one of the few remaining private independent practices in Hagerstown where our focus is on the individual. When you call our office, you will still get a live person answering the phone and will not have to go through a laundry list of options. We try to treat our patients like we would want to be treated with courtesy and respect.
If a person calls in with a medical problem that we can handle in the office, we try to see that individual the same day or within a few days. Patients who are admitted to the hospital or seen in the ER, are encouraged to follow up with us within a week.
We are still accepting and welcome new patients to the practice. Please call the office at 301-797-0210 to schedule an appointment to become an established patient. All new patients are given an one hour appointment which includes a complete history and physical examination. In addition, Dr. Mary E. Money offers consultations for patients who are experiencing diarrhea after meals whether due to rectal surgery or what is currently labeled as “irritable bowel syndrome”. Please call the office to schedule this also. The office does not correspond with individuals over the internet by e-mail at this time except for sending reports to them when appropriate.
At Primary Care Associates of Hagerstown, LLC we value your time and your privacy. We’ve provided copies of our new patient information forms for you to download, print, and complete at home. You may bring them into our office during your next visit. They will not be stored or sent online, but are offered here simply for your convenience. PCA of Hagerstown LLC follows Federal HIPAA requirements for maintaining patient privacy and healthcare portability. It is also important for each new patient to bring their prior medical records with them if possible and a complete list of all of the medications (including any vitamins, supplements, eye drops, etc.) that are being taken.
We look forward to seeing you and helping you with your medical problems with a goal of working with you to achieve your optimal health. Our three practitioners work as a team toward this goal and in case you have a medical problem that has developed over the weekend, please call us immediately and we will try to see you as soon as possible. Obviously, though, if this is a life threatening problem, you should go to the closest emergency room since we do not handle life threatening emergencies in the office.
Please always try to arrive at least 15 minutes ahead of your appointment time to complete any changes in your insurance, have your weight, pulse, and BP checked.
Please call us if you would like any other information about our practice.
